Experience the vibrant flavors of India

komo news logo

In the heart of Seattle's bustling Fremont neighborhood, Rasai gives hungry diners an opportunity to experience the vibrant flavors of India in a whole new way.

'Rasai means passage, and, for me, I wanted to make this restaurant a passage to modern Indian cuisine in Seattle' said Guarav Raj, executive chef of Rasai.

Formally trained in New Delhi, Raj worked at several acclaimed modern Indian restaurants in San Francisco before moving to the Northwest to put his stamp on this sparkling new space.

'This was a big opportunity for me,' said Raj. 'This was my project. I had to build everything myself, for me and from scratch basically.'
